I know that Totoro was just a nod to fans, but I think it’s one of the few movies that might actually be worth watching – the guitar and such will still be there after it.
But thanks for all the fun and humanity. This strip is also ‘worth it’!
I read the Guelph Mercury article about why the comic ended.
All I want to say is that I hope Jay takes it easy before doing any more projects. I’m looking forward to Oh Brother’s return whenever and however it might be, but his health is more important.
Both of you should be proud of this strip even if it wasn’t so widely circulated. They (the newspapers) are the ones that missed out.
Hey Bob I remember meeting you a few years ago at Groton CT., you were giving a drawing seminar back when you mostly did Slylock Fox, I was a youngin’ back then but I still remember. I learned quite a bit from that! Btw I hope the best for Jay, that he does take it easy and is able to get better.
Hi Bob, Mari, my roommate and myself are two old ladies that do your Slylock puzzle and your Spot Six Differences every Sunday, Why did this Sunday, Sept. 18th, come up with 7 differences? We love your puzzles. Does any book stores, like Barnes and Nobles, sell books of your puzzles? Thank you for being the talented artist that you really are.
Hi June! Thanks for writing. I’m so glad you and Mari enjoy my comics!! There is not book of puzzles in stores, but there is a Spot the difference app available for iPhone and iPad. The app contains 50 interactive puzzles.
Hi bob. I was solving ur spot the 6 differences puzzle on Sunday Sept 18th like I always do and was confused when I found 7 differences. When you said there is a difference with the birds, which bird are you talking about. The one that is missing or the one that is farther away from the hot dog stick.
hi bob! since last year, i’ve been following your comics almost every day but the i came like every day to check for new comic, i just found out that it’s your last… :-/ i really loved your comics! they’re amazing!!! is there any chance that you might start drawing “oh, brother!” again? (please say yes…)
OMG I used to read your comics everyday!!! But now *sniff* they are ending!!! I absolutely hope the best for you guys!!
In happiness or sorrow, there WILL be a tommarow.
The sun will shine so bright, no matter what your fight.
~Tiana <3 P.S. I will miss you but at least you have slylock fox
How many more Sunday strips before you run out, comrades? I am going to miss this strip.

They finally settled their differences!

It’s a sad day when such a wonderful comic strip ends WAY before it’s time. Thank you for all the laughs and smiles!!!
Thank you, Larry!!
I love this strip! Come back soon. Your last strip is a real keeper! Thank you!
Wow, Totoro, in honor to the legendary Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki.
I know that Totoro was just a nod to fans, but I think it’s one of the few movies that might actually be worth watching – the guitar and such will still be there after it.
But thanks for all the fun and humanity. This strip is also ‘worth it’!
Thank you, Neil.
